I think this is a great play with form both in and outside individual photograph and even though I dislike Adam’s titles you can tell that overall it’s not taking itself too seriously. Which I think adds to the appeal here: a grim triptych that’s quite playful overall.

I’ve been looking at this for a couple of days since the book is now upwards of 150 dollars and I didn’t grab it when I had the chance.

These look good next to one another, but I don’t think I will present them like this when the project is complete.
Edit: What I mean is that I’m not very interested in diptychs. I feel that they are a little overdone and too simplistic in the comparisons between images they draw. I much more interested in a narrative that is more like a fugue in structure, where you would come across a related photograph after other ideas have been presented.
